Parliamentary elections of Venezuela of 2010.

The elections Legislative National Choices of Venezuela of 2010 were carried out on September 26 to renew all the benches of the National Assembly.
This one is the first choice that was realized being in force the new Organic Law of Electoral Processes, approved by the National Assembly in 2009. The choice realized under the system of parallel vote system of supplementary members, 52 benches being chosen under the system of proportional representation, and 110 benches on the basis of the scrutiny uninominal majority, Electoral circumscriptions being formed according to the population base of 1,1 % of total population of the country. Nevertheless, there is defined that all the federal Venezuelan entities must choose as minimum three deputies; additional they are elected three additional deputies, in representation to the indigenous villages, inside three special circumscriptions. In total, 165 deputies have the responsibility of representing the people and the States in his set, two deputies less than in the choice of 2005. In addition, they were elected twelve Venezuelan representatives for the Latin-American Parliament, under the system of proportional representation.
